Look at all these free throws that Isaiah Thomas is taking! He’s gotten to the line 41 times in the last three games which has created a high floor for the Boston ball-handler. It should be no surprise that his career high FTA pace is translating into big points. He’s averaging 27.2 real PPG and has scored 40+ DraftKings points in six of his last eight games. There should be no team that benefits more from increased possessions tonight than the Boston Celtics.

Keep a close eye on that Brooklyn injury report. They are just absolutely decimated right now which is opening up a lot of minutes and usage for anyone who can step on the court. We are seeing that benefit Bojan Bogdanovic who has taken 29 shots in the last two games. His latest outing was a 29 point outing which returned his fantasy owners 38.25 DraftKings points. He’s going to extremely volatile and reliant on his jump shot, so proceed with caution. Either way, he’s flashed tremendous upside with two games of 37+ out of his last nine, which his salary never cracking $5,000.

  • Phoenix and Indiana rank 1st and 10th respectively in pace.
  • Memphis and Dallas rank 25th and 29th respectively in pace.
  • The average top scoring player on each slate costs $9,440 on DraftKings and $9,527 on Fanduel.

Super sneaky E’Twaun Moore tonight who is playing lots of minutes for the miserable Pelicans. He’s scored 25+ DraftKings points in four of six. That type of performance tonight would be immediately good for 5.6x value. There’s plenty of usage in New Orleans which has allowed Moore to take double-digit shots in eight of nine. Also, Anthony Davis sat out of practice yesterday. I think he’s trending towards playing, but if he doesn’t, there will be a ton of shots opening up for every Pelican.

Kenneth Faried is playing up to his nickname of “The Manimal”. He has posted two straight monster double-doubles including games of 20-15 and 18-14. That’s 48 and 48.25 DraftKings points in his last two games. It’s been a slow start to the season for Faried, but he called his recent benching a “wake up call”. It certainly seems that way as he is dominating the glass. I expect that to continue tonight against Toronto who is in the bottom ten in the league in points allowed in the paint. Here’s Faried’s heat map:

There are a lot of question marks at the center position tonight. The slate is littered with potential injuries, bad matchups or general concerns about each big man. I’d keep an eye on the Hawks injury report in case Dwight Howard sits out again. That would put Mike Muscala in line for big minutes, as he played 33 on Wednesday when Dwight missed the game. He only turned that into 27.75 DraftKings points which is a little dissapointing, but we’ve seen Muscala play to a 0.96 DraftKings points per minute rate this season. If he plays over 30 minutes again, you’d expect him to score over 30 DraftKings points.
