Week 6 Quarterbacks | Week 6 Wide Receivers Week 6 Tight Ends

I will continue to heavily roster Arian Foster ($7,000). He has had the worst possible start to the season and his ownership is dismal. Also, there are four RBs priced between $6,900 and $7,100 include Forte and Devonta Freeman. Many owners will choose either of those guys over Foster. Another poor running game from Foster in Week 5, with only 41 yards on 19 carries. He was able to make up for it through the air with 9 catches for 77 yards, finishing with 20.8 DraftKings points. What was really encouraging was to see that Foster had 28 touches and he even missed about ten minutes of game time going through the concussion protocol. It’s obvious that the Texans are going to give Foster all the work he can handle and what a beautiful matchup with JAX who’s allowed the 3rd most DraftKings points to opposing RBs.

Speaking of Devanta Freeman ($7,000), I cannot believe what this guy is doing. He now has 8 TDs through the first five games, which is the same amount that Le’Veon Bell had all last season. It’s clear that the rate he’s scoring at is unsustainable, but the way he’s playing is awesome. He is running like a man possessed and being used all over the field including lining up as a WR. I was a little concerned about Tevin Coleman’s role last week but Coleman was a complete non-factor, seeing only two touches. I also like Freeman’s value if Julio Jones continues to be hampered by injury. Since this is a short week, it’s reasonable to think that Jones may still be dinged up on Thursday night. Throw in a great matchup with the Saints and it’s hard to believe that Freeman doesn’t have another nice day.

I am still very intrigued by the PPR upside of Duke Johnson ($4,500). It’s clear that he is one of QB Josh McCown’s favorite targets. He has 21 catches in the last three games. While the matchup is terrible on paper versus Denver, the Broncos have actually allowed the 7th most DraftKings points to opposing RBs this season. I certainly expect the Browns to be trailing in this game, which will limit Johnson’s rushes, but should keep him involved in the passing game, where he can do some serious damage.

I am keeping a very close eye on Shane Vereen ($4,200) for this week. Specifically I am keeping an eye on Giants WRs Odell Beckham and Reuben Randle. Both WRs suffered a hamstring in Week 5. As on early this week, their status is very much in doubt for Monday night. If one or both or them are out, Vereen will become a big time target for Eli Manning. Vereen saw 8 targets last week, included four on the last drive when both Giants WRs were standing on the sideline. He could provide massive upside in full point PPR leagues.

The clear value play is going to be Charcandrick West ($4,000). Many reports have West being the replacement to injured Jamaal Charles, as opposed to Knile Davis. We won’t know how the touches actually shake out between these two, but I believe West to have a higher upside.

Plenty of value throughout the price chart thanks to the full point PPR on DraftKings. Commentary based on DraftKings strategy and scoring.
