Week 7 Quarterbacks | Week 7 Running Backs | Week 7 Wide Receivers

You’re probably noticing a trend here with Patriots players, but Rob Gronkowski ($8,100) is much too expensive for me this week. His price has skyrocketed after two straight subpar outings (by his standards). The Jets are stout against tight ends, but the real concern is the trend of targets that Gronk is receiving. Check this out:

The popular play of the week is going to be Antonio Gates ($5,000). Two straight games with nine catches in each and 48 combined points in the two games he has played this season. It’s clear that Philip Rivers is happy to have Gates back in his arsenal. The matchup cannot be any better as the Raiders have been miserable against tight ends this season. They even put up a 0 against Owen Daniels in their last game and are STILL the worst in the league versus TEs, surrendering 22 points a game.

It looks like Julius Thomas ($4,500) is really starting to hit his stride. Seven catches for 78 yards a TD last week against HOU. We’ve already talked about how often the Jaguars are forced to throw the ball which is a great sign for all JAX pass catchers. I expect another nice day this week from Thomas who is reasonable priced at only $4,500. Only six teams have been worse against TEs this season.

Delanie Walker ($3,900) continues to fly under the radar at the TE position. He’s clearly Mariota’s favorite target and saw 10 targets last week. Walker has scored 13+ points in three of the four games he’s played this season. That’s plenty of points for his price this week. I like him even more if Mariota suits up for this one, since it’s clear they’ve forged a nice relationship.

There are at least four solid Tight End options this week and plenty of value to be found. Commentary based on DraftKings strategy and scoring.
