Note: I am in the process of moving, so creating videos will be difficult over the next few days. I will create text posts instead with my picks for each night. Commentary based on DraftKings strategy and scoring.

The New York Mets are red-hot all of a sudden and scoring runs at a torrid pace. Guys like Lucas Duda who has 9 HRs in his L8 have made the Mets one of my top targets of the night. It’s certainly not a good ballpark in MIA, but let’s face it, the Mets don’t play in a great park anyway. They will face Tom Koehler who has one of the highest xFIPs on the board and a dismal 5.81 K/9 in the L30.

The Houston Astros will most likely be one of the chalkier plays of the night, but for good reason. They have the league’s best wOBA in the second half and face off with Colby Lewis who has been known to give up runs in a hurry. He owns the 5th worst xFIP of anyone on this slate over the L30 while surrendering 8 HRs in his L6 starts.

One of the most cost effective ways to gain exposure to the Astros will be via Preston Tucker ($3600). This guy has been torching the ball hitting .297 in the L14 and cranking 4 HRs. Globe Life Park is a big time hitters park, surrendering 21% more HRs to LHB than the league average.

Speaking of cost effective exposure, how about Mark Trumbo ($4000)? I don’t need to tell you about the Coors effect and how the entire Mariners roster has jumped in price today. Trumbo’s price has come up as well, but it is certainly reasonable and he is exactly the type of guy you want. A guy who hits a ton of flyballs with infinite power and the ability to take the ball out of the park. He’s got multiple hit games in 4 of 5 so he’s swinging the bat well heading into this series.

One of the Blue Jays’ newest acquisitions makes my list today in Ben Revere ($3700). Note that he is playing in the early game, so he comes into play on all-day slates. I would really love him if he was hitting at the top of the order, but either way, this is a big time offense that’s going to score a lot of runs the rest of the way. Revere has awesome career numbers 6-13 (.462) off Ervin Santana in his career and he is a huge stolen base threat.

A guy that I think I need to point out is Adam Eaton ($4400). This guy has been UNREAL. He’s recorded ten straight double digit fantasy games. I am not sure how many players how done that this year, but it can’t be many! A .435 average with more walks than Ks in his L14. Not concerned with the Nate Karns matchup. Buy on one of the hottest players in the league.
