I’ll be playing a lot of studs tonight, rostering as many as possible. DraftKings is hosting a Millionaire Maker event, with $1 million as the first prize. If you want a free entry, use this link to sign up and deposit $5 for a free $20 ticket. Commentary based on DraftKings strategy and scoring.

I think a really sneaky stack would be the Minnesota Twins. They are getting, quite possibly, the best matchup on the board. Alfredo Simon has been so bad it’s really hard to fathom how he still has a job. Over the course of his last 15 (!!) starts, he owns a 7.10 ERA and opponents are slugging .538 off of him. He has only given up less than four runs on three occasions during this stretch. While the Twins haven’t neccessarily been scorching as of late, they have a few nice pieces. Trevor Plouffe is hitting .429 in the L7 while Torii Hunter and Joe Mauer are hitting .350 and .348 respectively.

As much as I like Joe Kelly tonight, if he’s going to get hurt, it’s probably going to be by Chris Davis ($5,600). Davis is red-hot right now, hitting .425 with SEVEN homers in the L14. Camden Yards provides a big boost to LHB, surrendering 28% more HRs than the league average. Davis is a guy that you want to ride his streaks with.

I am sure you are getting sick of me talking about David Ortiz, so I’ll go with his teammate Mookie Betts ($5,100) instead. Mookie is another red-hot Red Sox player, hitting .426 in the L14. Betts is the type of player who can do it all, scoring runs and getting you XBHs.

Okay we need to find some value now, so take a look at Kurt Suzuki ($2,700). You know I like the Twins tonight and Suzuki has hit Simon well in his 11 career ABs. He has 5 hits including 2 HRs. Catcher is one of the easiest positions to punt and Suzuki is that punt play tonight.

Finally, a really deep value play in Cody Asche ($2,400). His price tag is cheap and he’s eligible at 3B and OF. It’s certainly a tough matchup with Strasburg but Asche might be able to take advantage of the tiny Citizens Bank Park. Asche has homered twice in the L3 games. Make sure he’s in the lineup, but he would certainly be a 1% owned player in a GPP.
