Note: I am in the process of moving, so creating videos will be difficult over the next few days. I will create text posts instead with my picks for each night. I am hoping to get back to videos shortly. Commentary based on DraftKings strategy and scoring.

Team Stacks:

The New York Yankees are back to the Bronx Bombers. They are so hot right now, scoring 104 runs in the L14. To put that into perspective, that is 22 more runs than the next closest team (CWS). 22 runs is the same margin that separates the White Sox and the Orioles who are 13th in runs scored. That shows how far and ahead the Yankees are right now. I expect it to continue tonight, at home, against Steven Wright who sports the 6th worst xFIP on this slate and has surrendered 4 HRs in his last 16.1 IP.

You have to take another look at the Philadelphia Phillies tonight. You’ve probably heard how good they’ve been in the second half, sporting the 7th best wOBA and scoring the 8th most runs in that span. They have shot up the charts vs. LHP, owning the 5th best BA against lefties. Brett Anderson is an average lefty, so I have no real concerns about him as a stopper tonight.

The Phillies that I really like tonight is Cesar Hernandez ($3,000). He is boasting an 8.9 pts/g average over his L10 including 6 double digit outputs in his L9. He has also destroyed LHP this season, batting .359. I love him if he’s at the top of the order and he’s eligible at both 2B and SS, so he should be easy to get into your lineup.

One guy who always seems to be overlooked is Adrian Gonzalez ($3,900). His price has dropped to one of the lowest prices in a long time and he walks into a great match-up with Aaron Harang. Harang has been victimized at times this season and Gonzalez is 9-17 (.529) with 3 HR in his career off Harang. A-Gon gets a big boost from playing at Citizens Bank Park which surrendered 11% more HRs to LHB than the average park.

Looking for a real flier? How about Jonny Gomes ($2,000). This min-priced option usually plays versus LHP, but make sure to double-check because the Braves have been going through a lot of different lineups. He’s my favorite min-priced player of the day due to his great career numbers off Bumgarner in his career hitting a cool .700 (7-10) with 2 HRs.

As usual, I’ll end with one of the better BvP guys I can find. That honor goes to Ryan Braun ($4,400) today. He’s been swinging it well, hitting .308 with 4 doubles and 3 HRs in the L14. Also, great numbers off Ian Kennedy in his career, hitting .450 (9-20) with 3 doubles and 1 HR.
