Pitchers:

A full 15 game slate today, where the pitching options are interesting. At the top we have Jacob deGrom, at home facing the Philadelphia Phillies. He is the cash play, with a safe floor and a high ceiling. The Phillies do strikeout a lot, and deGrom has shown his ability to prevent runs recently. With at least 30 points in his last 3 starts, deGrom is the number one option today. Lance McCullers Jr. takes the ball vs. the Yankees, and he has a discounted price tag at $8,800. He gets to face a Yankees team without some of their starters. Matt Holiday, Starlin Castro, Aaron Hicks and Tyler Austin are all out. Lance has 8Ks in his last 4 starts, and he has already made his first start off the DL, so the leash should be back to normal. Another 8K option is Jacob Faria. He is legit good, and has a good match up. The Orioles are below average wRC+ vs. righties and strikeout above league average. If you want to get crazy Ariel Miranda faces the Angels, so he gets a great match up.

Hitters:

Detroit Tigers – Josh Tomlin faces a right handed heavy Tigers squad. Tomlin sucks to righties with a .377 wOBA. Everyone is in play.

Texas Rangers – Mike Pelfrey isn’t very good. The left handed bats in this Rangers lineup are Odor Gallo, Choo and Mazara. Andrus, Chirinos and Beltre are also in play.

LA Dodgers – Richard is tough on lefties, but the righties should feast in this match up. Bellinger and Seager are in play, but face a tough match up, until they get into the bullpen. Turner, Taylor, Grandal and Barnes all draw the platoon advantage.
