Pitchers:
Today is a pretty short slate, so I’ll keep it short. At the top we have Marcus Stroman and Masahiro Tanaka, facing each other in New York. I prefer the Yankees starters, Tanaka, who has the higher strikeout upside in this match up. He is priced up, but considering the slate, $9,900 for Tanaka is fair. He has been pretty solid in his past 3 starts, with at least 18 points in 3 of his last 4 starts. For my SP2, I’m looking to Jharel Cotton. He faces the White Sox in Oakland. With pitching today, I’m just looking to not get blown up. Cotton has a good match up in a pitchers park. If you want to punt your second pitcher, you could do worse than Carlos Rodon and Andrew Moore.
