2015-16 Game Logs | Player Scoring Calendar | Salary Database | Points Allowed By Position

It’s fairly clear that Russell Westbrook ($10,400) will be the top option on the slate tonight. No one is scoring more DraftKings points per game than him and he’s a stat hog. This guy can pour it in a ton of different ways and now has 47 points and 27 assists in his last two games. The season is young, but Westbrook has only been held under 55 points once in five games. The Chicago Bulls are a mess right now after getting blown out by Charlotte two nights ago. This game has a healthy 208 O/U, so expect another big night from Westbrook.

If you want to save up at the position, Jeremy Lin ($4,500) is a solid source of fantasy points. He doesn’t start, but he should play between 20-25 minutes for the Hornets every night. His length on defense causing a lot of turnovers and he can rebound very well for a guard. His secondary stats are still overshadowed by his scoring touch, averaging 12.8 points per game this season. Lin has been consistent, scoring between 21 and 29 DraftKings points per game in every game this season. He should see a boost tonight battling the fast paced Dallas Mavericks.

Jimmy Butler ($7,700) is clearly the top SG on the slate. While teammate Derrick Rose continues to struggle, it’s Butler who’s shouldering the entire offense for the Bulls. He’s averaging 20.8 real points per game and can add in a handful of rebounds, assists and steals every night. He’s probably not a candidate to go for full 6x value, but he’s a very safe option to get you 5x.

It’s hard to overlook what Alec Burks ($4,600) is doing right now and that’t scoring 16 PPG off the bench for the Jazz and returning his fantasy owners at least 26 DraftKings points in three of his last four. You’d love 26 DK points from Burks tonight which would be 5.6x value on his salary. It’s certainly within his range of outcomes as the Jazz will travel to take on the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets play at a breakneck speed which should create a few extra possessions for the usually slow Jazz.

The SF position gets ugly very quickly, but Al-Farouq Aminu ($5,600) should be a safe option to return you 5x value, with a bit of an upside. Aminu only needs 28 DraftKings points to hit that 5x number, which he’s accomplished in each of his last four games. The matchup on paper with Memphis is not ideal, but the Grizzlies have really struggled to start the season. Only four teams are giving up more DraftKings points to opposing SFs than Memphis. Now is the time to target the Grizz and Aminu makes for a very safe play and double-double threat.

I might be in love with Charlotte today, but Marvin Williams ($5,000) needs to be on your radar. He’s been playing whopping minutes for the Hornets, with no less than 33 in any game this season (not counting the 25 he played in the blowout of CHI two nights ago). His price is on the rise, as it should be, but he still offers 6x upside. Williams is averaging 28.9 DraftKings points per game with his solid 10.5 PP and 9.3 RBG. Again, the Hornets are going to get a boost from playing at a faster pace than usual tonight, MW is a sneaky double-double guy and cash game staple.

Keep an eye on a few injury situations. The first being Marc Gasol who is currently listed as questionable with a neck injury. If he doesn’t play, the biggest beneficiary will be Brandan Wright ($3,000). The min-price Wright stepped in and played 28 minutes against the Kings in Gasol’s absence. He turned those minutes into 29.5 DraftKings points which would provide a huge boost to your lineup for the price. Note that Wright is listed as a power forward on DraftKings.

The other injury situation are the centers for the Denver Nuggets. Seriously, here’s what they have for tonight:

Nurkic has already been ruled out for the game and Lauvergne and Jokic, both sat out Tuesday’s game and are questionable for tonight. If Lauvergne ($4,500) plays, I like him as a flier. He’s averaging 23.1 DraftKings points per game this season in limited run. He could be a solid producer to your lineup at his price point. If none of these guys play, then JJ Hickson ($3,800) will be a must play. Hickson played 25 minutes on Tuesday with all three of these guys out and turned in a massive 17-7 performance for 32.75 DraftKings points. This is a very fluid situation, so stay tuned! A small slate of games today, with very little value so far. Stay glued to the injury reports to see what opens up. Commentary based on DraftKings strategy and scoring.
