Noah Syndergaard (12K) Syndergaard is the lone ace on the day and his salary solidifies that. He’s currently averaging 6.5 K’s per over his last 10 He’s currently pacing a .310 wOBA over his last 10 games and just a 2.46 ERA over that same window. The Rockies struggle on the road and they’re an easy target in today’s matchup.COL has an implied run total of just 2.8 runs and again given their woes away from Coors is justifiable. Syndergaard has the highest salary on the day by far but given this matchup I’m favoring spending up here for Thor and finding a nice value with SP number two.
Dallas Keuchel (8.2K)  Yes the Tigers are making a solid post-season push but I think the matchup herewith Keuchel is favorable one for the HOU faithful. The TIgers rank in the bottom of the league in K%, ISO, wOBA, and wRC+ vs LHP leaving Dallas some nice upside on the day. He’s averaged 19.96 fantasy points over the last two months and he’s allowing just a .309 wOBA overall over that same time frame. Over the past 30 days his HR/9 is just .33, his HR/FB ratio is 4.8%, and his AVGA is .155. He’s averaging just under 6 K’s per in his last 10 starts and the favorable handedness matchup should allow for additional upside.
Stack City: I’m looking feast or famine here. Michael Pineda has churned out K’s all year long but he’s been rocked in his two appearances vs TB. Those two starts include a 6.93 ERA while allowing 5 HR’s and a total of 13 ER’s. Brad Miller (3.8K) Miller has a .255 ISO vs RHP and a .351 wOBA vs RHP on the year. The matchup allows Miller some solid upside and he’s in a great lineup spot on the day(2nd.) Evan Longoria (3.9K) His current ISO vs RHP is .308 his wOBA is .406. Pineda’s currently allowing a 5 ERA and given his past starts against TB he’s in a spot to get abused again & Longoria is a nice piece in making sure this takes place. Steve Pearce (3K) Pearce will be positioned 5th and he’s posting a .411 wOBA over his last 60 days vs RHP and a .527 SLG and .389 wOBA overall. Given the salary his bargain and upside rating are high & with Pineda’s bust potential vs TB his lineup position makes him a nice decision.
Other Plays: Tommy Pham (3.6K) A .258 ISO and .353 matchup wOBA vs LHP Andrew Cashner making him an interesting play. Tyler Naquin (4.3K) Naquin has a nice matchup at home against Sonny Gray OAK today. Gray’s 5.43 ERA, his .373 ISO vs RHP and a .355 wOBA vs RHP in his last 60 bring promise here(Santana and Napoli make for a nice possible stack here.)
