The Mayakoba Championship is in the books and the Optimal Lineup is in! It scored 678.5 points and cost $49,300.

Optimal Lineup

Viktor Hovland ($10,900 & 134.5 Points)

Hovland not only captures victory but he successfully defends his title in Mayakoba. His point total of 134.50 matches his point total for his Puerto Rico Open victory and is the second highest total of his career… behind only his win at Mayakoba last year.

Scottie Scheffler ($9,900 & 110.5 Points)

Scheffler piled up the birdies, 21 of them for the week. That also included a birdie streak on both Friday and Sunday. His solo-4th place finishing position was helpful in earning Scheffler the fourth highest point total of his career.

Joaquin Niemann ($7,800 & 104.5 Points)

Niemann was one of the most popular golfers on the slate and he paid off for his backers. Niemann’s “value” this week checked in at 13.3x his salary, making this the 7th most valuable week of Niemann’s fantasy career.

Carlos Ortiz ($7,600 & 122.0 Points)

Ortiz makes good in his native Mexico, finishing solo 2nd. His well-rounded week featured scores of 67-65-67-66. The highlight of his week included for five birdies in a six hole stretch on Sunday afternoon. That earned him his third birdie streak of the week.

Danny Lee ($6,900 & 105.5 Points)

Lee makes the optimal lineup for the second consecutive week. Lee shot one of the lowest rounds of the day on Sunday —  a 64 that included six birdies and an eagle.

Andrew Landry ($6,700 & 101.5 Points)

Landry made all pars over his final ten holes of the week but had already racked up 21 birdies to that point. He had multiple birdies streaks and a bogey free round to push over the century mark in scoring.
