The pitching options are totally stacked today. How about Rich Hill as an overlooked option on this slate? Hill has scored at least 20.7 DraftKings points in four straight games and has scored 29+ in four of his last nine. His 10.14 K/9 this season is sixth best on the slate and he’s only walked one batter of his last 14 innings pitched. Today he will battle the Detroit Tigers who are in the bottom third of the league versus LHP. This is a pitcher friendly ballpark in Oakland that is allowing the second fewest runs and the fewest HRs in the league this season.

After that, I am looking at Taijuan Walker to provide some mid-tier value. Walker has been much better at home this season, averaging 19.3 DraftKings PPG. He’s coming off a stellar outing against the A’s where he struck out six over 7.1 IP, earning 23.5 DK points. Today he will face the feeble Twins offense that ranks 25th in wOBA this season and is striking out at the sixth-highest rate.

If you want a contrarian stack, look no further than the Kansas City Royals against Chris Sale. Sale has been dominant this season but the defending World Champs have finally kicked it into gear. They own the 4th best wOBA this week and the Royals have been known to beat up on lefties in the past. Kansas City has five guys batting over .280 against LHP this season. This feels like an opportunity to buy a hot team at low ownership that has been excllent at not striking out the last two seasons.
