Rajon Rondo ($7,600) becomes an interesting play tonight as the Kings are likely to be without DeMarcus Cousins. The Kings have played 11 games without Cousins this season and while Rondo’s numbers are generally the same with or without the big man, it’s the most recent games that have me interested. In the last two games that Cousins has missed (March 23rd and March 11th), Rondo has posted 58.5 and 47.75 DraftKings points. Rondo is not afraid to shoot the rock when Cousins misses time and he’s already an elite assist man in this league. Rondo posted another ho-hum double-double last night with 11 points and 11 dimes in a blowout of the Mavericks. Rondo has fared well against Portland this season, averaging 40.0 DK PPG in two meetings.

Jamal Crawford ($4,500) is one of the best sixth men in the league and he continues to provide fantasy value for his owners. He’s played at least 32 minutes in each of the last three while piling on 24.5, 28.25 and 32.25 DraftKings points. He’s trending upwards and no one has ever accused Crawford of being afraid to shoot the ball. He’s taken 44 shots in those three games including 15 from behind the arc. Crawford needs 27 DraftKings points to his 6x value tonight, a feat he has accomplished in three of his last five.

How about a GPP flier on Luol Deng ($5,800)? The Heat forward was has bookended two poor fantasy games with 39.25 and 41.25 DraftKings point efforts. If you throw out the two duds from last week, Deng is averaging 39.1 DraftKings points per game over his last seven contests. He’s scored 33+ in all of them and is averaging 18.3 real PPG in the process. Deng has been excellent since the All-Star Break, averaging 34.4 DK PPG and playing over 33 minutes per night in 18 games.

You have to love LaMarcus Aldridge ($7,300) who was rested on Saturday but is expected to suit up tonight against the Grizzlies. You don’t have to look far to see the last game these teams faced each other. It was Friday night and the last time Aldridge played. Aldridge absolutely shredded the Grizzlies for 32 points and 12 rebounds for 59.5 DraftKings points. This has been an excellent stretch of basketball for Aldridge who is now averaging 42.3 DraftKings PPG over his last 12 games, courtesy of a 23.1/9.7 line. He’s scored at least 40 DraftKings points in nine of those 12 games.

DeAndre Jordan ($7,900) is feeling it right now. Three straight big double-doubles including lines of 19-20, 12-12 and 16-16. Jordan is not known for his scoring prowess, only averaging 12.8 PPG this season (a career high), but he’s been much better this month. In the twelve games in March, he’s averaging 16.4 PPG which is a 25% increase over his season total. Jordan has faced this Boston team just once this season, but he made it count with a 21-16 line and 51.5 DraftKings points.
