I love Mudiay, Lowry and Kyrie but if you’re really looking for value, take a peek at Marcelo Huertas ($3,500). WHO?! That’s right, Huertas should be on your radar, thanks to the injury to Lou Williams. He’s logged 28.3 minutes per game over the last four which is by far the most he’s played all season long. Those increased minutes have returned his fantasy owners 22.5 DK PPG in the process. He’s a high-energy player who can score across most categories. He could be blowout-proof tonight and should be in line for plenty of minutes despite the final score. Assuming Williams does not play today, you have to consider Huertas as one of the best value plays on the board.

Gary Harris ($5,000) has been another beneficiary of the Danilo Gallinari injury. Harris has provided a solid 28 DK PPG in the six contests without Gallinari in the lineup. He’s topped 31 DraftKings points in two of his last three and has scored double digit real points in eleven of twelve. He’s shouldering a much larger role in the offense with 13 shots per game and will get the porous Phoenix defense tonight.

If you’re going to spend up, it’s logical to do so for LeBron James ($9,800). We rarely talk about LeBron since he is almost always fairly priced. However, on a short slate of games, you need to consider rostering the player who will likely be the night’s top scorer. You know exactly what LeBron is, he’s a triple-double threat every single night and he’s averaging 50.6 DK PPG over his last eleven games. The matchup here is what is so juicy. LeBron tends to show up on the big stage and there is no stage bigger than his last meeting with Kobe in Los Angeles. Expect him to go “full-LeBron” like he did in the only other meeting between these two teams this season. LeBron posted a 29-11-7 line for 58.75 DraftKings points.

We will jump back to a deep value play in Jason Thompson ($3,200). The newly-acquired forward finally earned valuable minutes for the Raptors. Thompson started and played 24 minutes on Tuesday night. That was worth a well rounded 9-5-2-2-1 line that led to 23.75 DraftKings points. Thompson passed the eye-test, playing an enthusiastic style of basketball with his new teammates. His minutes are likely to be volatile, but he has a high probability of hitting value if he can find 25 minutes again tonight.

Finally, I am paying up for Pau Gasol ($8,300) at the center position. Jimmy Butler has been ruled out which is going to allow Gasol to continue his massive usage rate. Gasol has logged two straight games of 63+ DraftKings points. He’s hauled in 34 rebounds in those two games. While this is not a great matchup, the Spurs are taking the opportunity to get rested and healthy so they may not be at full-power again tonight. It didn’t matter in the first meeting between these two teams, as Gasol notched a ho-hum double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds for 49.25 DraftKings points.
