It may be worth investing in Michael Carter-Williams ($6,700) to have a bounce-back game tonight. MCW has been terrible in his last two games, averaging just 17.87 DK points in that span. However, it was the previous six games that show how good he can be as he averaged 39.2 DK points during the stretch. He’s never been a good shooter, but he does contribute in nearly every category. This is going to be an uptempo, fast paced game with a a healthy total. Expect his ownership to be down, making MCW one of my favorite GPP plays.

I hate to even say this, but I think Ty Lawson ($3,800) needs to be on your radar right now. He’s played 27, 19 and 30 minutes over his last three contests after being tied to the bench for the last month. Obviously as his minutes tick up, so does his production. Those three outings returned 18, 18.25 and 23 DraftKings points. His certainly not blowing the roof off the building but we know what kind of upside Lawson has. This is a guy who posted 26 games of 40+ DraftKings points last season. If he can settle into a role with the Rockets that provides him 30 MPG, his ceiling is as high as it gets in this price range.

Highly recommended to keep an eye on the Miami Heat injury report. If Dwyane Wade does not suit up, there will be plenty of beneficiaries. The value play would likely be Tyler Johnson ($3,700). Johnson has just returned from an injury of his own, but was starting to put it all together before he went down. He posted games of 28.5 and 32.35 in two of his final three contents before injury. In both games he contributed in every category posting lines of 20-2-2-1-1 and 19-5-2-1-1. I do have concerns that he will continue to be eased into action, but the Heat may not have a choice if they are shorthanded tonight.

It’s been awhile since we’ve chatted on Thabo Sefolosha ($3,800). He’s carved himself a nice role with the Hawks, consistently earning between 24 and 28 minutes a night. He can do it all for his owners, scoring in every category. He’s coming off a solid week of games, where he posted 23.5, 18.75 and 30.75 in three of four. He needs only 22.8 DK points tonight to reach 6x value, which is certainly within his range of outcomes. The Rockets have struggled with wing players all season long and the Hawks should see a boost from the inflated Vegas line tonight.

With or without Wade tonight, Chris Bosh ($7,100) should be on your short list. Three massive games in a row for Bosh, scoring his owners 52.5, 47 and 48.5 DraftKings points. That includes three double-doubles as he continues to crash the boards effectively. Wade is boasting a 32.1 usage rate this season which is 6th highest in the league. If he doesn’t play, there is going to be a tremendous amount of opportunity up for grabs and Bosh’s ceiling will skyrocket.

With Terrence Jones doubtful for tonight, expect Clint Capela ($5,500) to take on a larger role. Capela has cooled off a bit, but I would argue that is due to inconsistent rotations. This is a guy who was averaging well over 1 DK PPM when he was seeing solid minutes. If he pushes 30 minutes tonight, he’s an absolutely double-double threat against the Hawks who have been decimated in the paint this season.
