How To Create Lineups For Cash Games vs. GPPs [5:57]

George Hill ($6,000) will be making his return to the court today for the Pacers after missing three straight with a respiratory infection. He should step back into his normal role as the starting PG and earning 32+ minutes per game. The Pacers are big beneficiaries of the O/U tonight, currently posted at 205.5. That’s a full 8.5 points higher than their average O/U, so expect a nice boost in production for the Pacers. Hill is a very volatile player, but he plays a ton of minutes and launches nearly 11 shots per game.

Will Barton ($5,800) has supplanted himself as a big time scorer for the Nuggets. He’s returned his owners an average of 34.6 DraftKings points per game over his last six games. That would nail 6x value again tonight at that pace. Barton is certainly not afraid to shoot the ball, firing up 72 shots over that six game span. The Nuggets are another team that I expect to play over their averages tonight. A nice pace and healthy O/U puts Barton as one of the mid-tier values with massive upside.

Jimmy Butler ($8,100) looks like Fools Gold tonight. I love him as a player, but his price has inflated to over $8,000 and with the return of Derrick Rose tonight, he will not be asked to do nearly as much on offense. He’s going to need 48.6 DraftKings points to reach full value this evening, a feat that he has only accomplished once this season. He’s the most expensive SG and in a great matchup, so I expect him to be heavily owned, but it won’t be by me this evening.

Paul George ($9,900) has been the cream of the crop around the NBA this week. In fact, in the last ten days, only two players have scored more DraftKings points per minute than George at 1.5. Those players are Russell Westbrook and Demarcus Cousins, neither of whom are on this slate. George enters a prime matchup with WAS and I’ve already noted how much I like the boost for the Pacers tonight. George is one of the most elite plays on the board.

Thabo Sefolosha ($4,000) will continue to log nice minutes with teammate Kent Bazemore sidelined. In the three games that Bazemore has missed, Thabo has earned 20.25, 13.25 and 23.25 DraftKings points. He’s coming off his highest scoring game of the season with 13 points and 5 rebounds. He doesn’t have a ton of upside, but he does provide a nice value at only $4,000 and should see plenty of minutes.

With Kenneth Faried sidelined, Darrell Arthur ($3,500) is bordering on a “must play”. He started in the place of Faried on Sunday and logged 34 minutes, scoring 21 points and hauling in 8 rebounds. That was good for 33 DraftKings points. He doesn’t need nearly that many to reach full 6x value, but it’s nice to see there is plenty of upside.

It’s worth noting that Zaza Pachulia ($5,700) has been incredible in his last three games. He’s notched double-doubles in all three, returning 35, 41 and 40.5 DraftKings points in those contests. Zaza has been a solid source of fantasy points this season and tends to fly under the radar. He’s not sexy, but a double-double would certainly be sexy for your lineup!
