BRAND NEW: NBA Projections Now Live

2015-16 Game Logs | Player Scoring Calendar | Salary Database | Points Allowed By Position

Quite honestly, I spend a lot of time fading Steph Curry ($10,700) since he’s always one of the most expensive players and his ownership is through the roof. However, I don’t think there’s any reason to stay away tonight. He’s the best PG, in the best situation against the Phoenix Suns. No team has given up more points to opposing guards than PHO and the Warriors have had three full days off after a long road trip. They will return home, healthy and ready to start a new streak. Don’t overthink this one, roster Curry liberally.

I am loving Chris Paul ($7,900) at his price point for tonight. His price has fallen nearly $1K over the last week. He’s now a reasonable $7.9K and needing only 47 DraftKings points to reach full 6x value this evening. CP3 has scored 41, 44 and 50 in three out of four. He’s an assist machine who will take ~15 shots a night. This is your chance to get a high usage player at a discount.

Eric Bledsoe ($8,400) need 50.4 to reach full 6x value which he has accomplished in each of the last three games. Bledsoe is being asked to carry this Phoenix offense and they are going to need him at his best against the Warriors. Vegas expects this game to be extremely high score, pinning it with a 220 O/U. Here we have a hot player, in a good matchup, with a boost from Vegas. That’s a killer combination.

Allen Crabbe ($4,000), yes please! An outstanding run of offense from Crabbe lately, scoring double digit points in seven of eight. In that run, he’s averaged 22.52 which would be 5.6x value tonight. He’s going to earn a nice boost from playing the fast paced Thunder squad. This game has the second highest total on the board.

Not that it’s saying much, but Luol Deng ($4,500) is playing the best basketball of his season right now. He’s scored 15 and 18 real points in his last two games, good for 27.75 and 39.25 DraftKings points, He’s a very long player which has helped him wipe the boards to the tune of 16 rebounds and three steals in those two games. Assuming he can stay healthy, this price tag won’t last long.

This is your weekly reminder to not forget about Anthony Davis ($10,600) tonight. The injury risk and “bad matchup” will drive down his ownership, but don’t forget what AD did to these Jazz just two weeks ago. He laid a massive 36-11-4-3-2 line on them for 61 DraftKings points. With the absence of Rudy Gobert in the paint, the Jazz are going to be hard pressed to defend one of the best players in the league.

I am just waiting for that explosion from Hassan Whiteside ($6,600). This guy is too good with too many ways to score fantasy points to be having games this poor. Maybe a date with Brook Lopez is just what the doctor ordered. Whiteside, not known for his offensive prowess, will get a big boost from Lopez who’s one of the softest defenders in the paint. Throw in his elite rebounding at a discounted price and Whiteside feels like a solid GPP option.

Speaking of GPP candidates, how about Alex Len ($5,200). He’s coming off a dud which will drive his ownership down, but Len has been extremely solid, scoring no less than 26 DraftKings points in any of his previous five games. A big time boost from the pace we should see against Golden State and he’s much more athletic than his projected defender, Andrew Bogut.
