Week 7 Quarterbacks | Week 7 Wide Receivers Week 7 Tight Ends

It looks like the Eagles are finally using Demarco Murray ($6,400) the way we all hoped. Murray has seen 27 and 25 touches in the last two weeks, which has produced 25 and 24.3 DraftKings points respectively. While the matchup with the Panthers on paper is not ideal, CAR has actually surrendered the 7th most DraftKings points to opposing RBs. If Murray continues to see 20+ touches, he could be the best dollar for dollar RB on the board.

Latavius Murray ($6,100) came out of the gates hot this season with games of 15, 17.70 and 24.90 DraftKings points. He then had a tough go against CHI and DEN, but still ranks as RB13 this season. At a thin position, full of under-performers, Murray should absolutely be on your radar this week. Coming off a BYE, the Raiders are going to get a prime matchup with SD who’s allowed the second most fantasy points to opposing RBs. In fact, if you just count the “lead” back, the Chargers are the worst in the league. A single opposing RB has not scored less than 19.4 DraftKings points against the Chargers this season.

Everyone in the world will own Todd Gurley ($5,000) and it’s probably correct to do so. This kid looks incredible and he’s passing every single eye test. He is dominating the STL carries and had 21 touches two weeks ago, followed by 30 carries last week! He’s converted those touches into 305 yards on the ground. Gurley gets the dream matchup of facing CLE at home and off the BYE. CLE has allowed 149.8 rushing yards per game this season, by far the worst in the league.

It’s no coincidence that Lamar Miller ($4,600) had his best game of the season in the first game under new head coach Dan Campbell. Miller only saw 47 touches over the course of the first four weeks but saw a workload increase to 21 touches (19 carries) last week. Miller took advantage rushing for 113 yards and found the endzone. He’s going to get the Houston Texans who have been feast or famine against the run this season. If Miller continues to see ~20 touches, he will be one of the better RB values on the board.

Are you a glutton for punishment? If so, consider rostering Christine Michael ($3,000) this week. Reports have Michael taking an increased role in the offense starting this week and the exact quote from RB coach Gary Brown is that the team is “going to take the reins off” Michael. That’s a bold statement to make so you better believe he’s going to see some significant touches. I am a big believer in the Cowboys having the best offensive line in the league. Hell, I could run for about 40 yards behind that line! Imagine what an NFL RB should be able to do. Michael is priced at the minimum and will face the porous Giants run defense that is allowing the 8th most points to opposing RBs.

There is solid value across all price points at running back this week. You should feel confident in all tiers. Commentary based on DraftKings strategy.
