Now that we have some data to work with, I would like to introduce the NBA Projections! I plan on posting these every day to help you create your lineups. They will be embedded below in a Google Spreadsheet since they will be fluid throughout the day as news and injuries break, If you’d like to make your own projections, I created a How To Video for you.
These projections are very similar to the format you’ll see in that video. What you’ll notice that differs from a lot of other sites is that we are able to calculate the probability of a player scoring 5x, 6x and 7x value for each night. Since we have accumulated so much data, we can use a players consistency rating amongst other factors to assign those milestones a probability. This will come in handy depending on the format of contest that you play. If you are playing in a cash game, you’ll want a player who has a high probability of scoring 5x value. If you are entering GPPs, the players with a better chance to score 6x or more will be more useful.

In an effort to provide you with as much information as possible, we will be compiling the salaries for every NBA player, each day this season. It’s in a CSV file for you to download and plug right into your projections, models or anything else you are cooking up!

Introducing the NBA Player Scoring Calendar! This is something I think will be really cool for the NBA season. It’s a visual representation of the Game Logs Database. It will allow you to easily scroll through and find out which players have been scoring well lately, as opposed to over the course of the entire season. Also, we will be able to find trends like how players score in back-to-backs and see the floor/ceiling of each player.
There are two ways to view the Player Calendar:

*Note: The Full Export and Spreadsheet Export Files are now one document! Enjoy!
Here’s a very helpful tool that will help you determine which teams to target players against. It will be easy to see which defenses struggle against certain positions and if they are on the second night of a back-to-back. The tabs at the bottom will take you through each position.
Downloadable Version (Updated Through 4/13)
NOTE: The downloadable version has been updated (as of Dec. 8) thanks to some awesome user feedback. The old version was clunky and was an ever-growing sheet. The new version will be much easier to use in your projection sheets!
The NBA Game Logs Database is exactly what it sounds like, it’s every game log for every player who steps on the court this season. It can be used to help identify trends, create projections or be the source data for countless models. It includes all the game information, DraftKings/Fanduel scoring and Vegas lines and over/unders.
If you are interesting is starting off with last year’s information, that can be found here.
I am trying to make this as easy as possible for you to use. So this will be updated regularly in a few versions:
